Rubber Thread manufacturing unit to come up in June
Dharampal Satyapal Group is going to give a major boost to the process of industrialization in the state as they are coming up with two Mega projects one is the Rubber Thread Manufacturing Plant and the other is the steel sheet plant. The Heat Resistant Latex Rubber Thread Manufacturing Unit with an installed capacity of 5000 Metric Tonnes per anum is expected to start its trial run from the third week of June while commercial production is stated to begin from July this year. The company has so far invested Rs. 69 crores of the total project.

Dr. Giacinto Petrillo an expert from Italy linked actively with this project informed media persons that the production will be totally controlled by computers. In order to remove power problems the company has set up its own gas based power generation plant of 1340 kilo watt. The group has purchased two gas genset of 900 K.W. from M/s Wankesha TNG USA. A part from this there are two diesel genset. Keeping mind the poor track record of state government in power supply, the company has preferred to become self sufficient.

Asked about cooperation or any sort of help extended from state government for these projects the leval Advisor of the D.S.Group, Mr.R.K.Choudhury said, “We have not received any help from state government but from Central Government.” Highly percent of the manpower requirement will be done from the state. At present 80 people are employed for this project out of which 70 are from the state.

Chief P.R. and Corporate Communication Bhavna Sood informed that the rubber threat manufacturing plant will manufacture a premium quality heat resistant latex rubber thread used in various inner wears.
