The primary roofing material used in the North East is galvanized sheets. The market in this region is oriented towards very thin sheets, and the project has been designed to cater to the special needs of this market.

CRCA sheets produced here would be used by the local industry in the production of almirahs, panels, grain storage bins / silosa and barrels etc. Easy availability of the material locally would encourage more entrepreneurs to set up small industrial units.
